Certain to be a strong tempo with Indie Film, Mana Hoku Lani and Maroon Trick leading the charge. INDIE FILM (1) got home by a head last time out over 1400m at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Expected to be in the finish. MAROON TRICK (2) has been kept fresh since finishing seventh over 1400m at this track four weeks ago. Was a determined winner two starts back. Likely to go forward from a nice draw. Sure to be in the finish. MANA HOKU LANI (5) hit the frame two starts ago at Mizusawa but ran below par last time when tenth over 1400m at this track. Best form stacks up nicely and deserves another chance. NEVER EVER (8) ran a better race last start, finishing fourth over 1400m at this track. No surprise to see him in contention.
