Strong pace from Shimasan Black and Sun Calypso pushing forward, along with Mizuno Miyako from out wide. SHIMASAN BLACK (5) had been in top form scoring two wins on end prior to missing the frame last time out at this track. Coming back in journey today. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Sure to be in the finish. FATE LINE (2) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when 13th over 2770m at Fukushima. Ideally placed here in easier and is sure to give this a mighty shake. WIN IL NEIGE (9) was never in contention last time over 1200m at Fukushima when she finished 14th. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. MAGICAL WORD (1) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth beaten 2.5 lengths over 1600m at Morioka Dirt. Jumps from a low gate and deserves respect on best figures.
