ILLUMINATOR (11) has put together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on June 22 over 1400m when he got home by a neck. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. SAKURA TOUJOURS (10) finished 15th when resuming last start over 1600m in the G1 Yasuda Kinen at Tokyo. Has a decent second-up record. Expected to run well back at this level. HAKUSAN TSUKIMITEI (2) was ridden quietly then made a little ground and finished sixth last time out over 1400m at this track six-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in journey today. Has won seven races at this course and distance from 10 tries. Winning claims on best figures. AOI MIMOSA (5) made progress last time out, finishing third at the end of 1700m at this track. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
