Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a solid tempo. DENISE'S GAL (7) has her hoof on the till after eight starts and is ready to win fifth-up. Showed plenty of early speed before being nailed late in a tight finish when fourth over 1210m at Moruya. Gets map favours again today and she finds a very ordinary contest. Go close. LET UP (4) Astern gelding from Modesty on debut for the Pat Murphy yard. Latest trial had merit when saluting over 750m at Goulburn. Lugging bit goes on and gets every chance from the good gate. DEVIL DANCER (3) Captivant gelding from the handy producer Devil Miss on debut for the Jarrod Austin stable. Looks ready to go after placing in his latest trial over 740m at Warwick Farm. Each-way. ARGYLE SPRINGS (6) placed here two-back on the heavy surface and will appreciate the firmer track today. Just under a month between runs when she knocked up late to run fifth over 1200m Cowra. Fitter now and stays in the calculations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Denise's Gal should be winning this.
