Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a genuine tempo. Siding with the newcomers. INSIDE WORD (7) is a gelding by Overshare out of Mona Dream who debuts for the Corstens & Larkin yard. He's won a Flemington jumpout leading in and looks a likely type in a winnable race. RIDE LIKE MICHELLE (8) is a filly by Russian Camelot out of Nana Jenn who is at the races for the first time today. She'll likely get over more ground than this but looks handy for the Payne yard off a Seymour jumpout win. WHAT ONCE WAS (9) is an Overshare filly on debut for the Lindsey Smith stable. She's had early support which is worth noting with this yard, respecting. EXCELAOT (1) raced on the speed last time but couldn't finish the race off and clocked in fifth over 1000m at Ballarat Synthetic. He's going okay and should take some catching against the inexperienced ones. SUGGESTED PLAY: Inside Word to win.
