Plenty of pace with The Stock Route and Prince Pinot leading from Fiorente Spritz. HAALAND (1) presents third up and ready to fire. He was outclassed badly fresh in much tougher company but improved quickly at Mildura last time when getting home into fourth. Back in grade again here and should be at peak fitness now from a nice draw. VERIFIER (7) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Donald over 2218m after he worked home in good style. He doesn't win out of turn but should be right there on recent form. NOTTOLOOK (2) won his maiden at start two when last seen at Donald over 2218m. Looks a likely type with further improvement and he'll stay the trip strongly. SMOKIN' ROHIE (9) finished ahead of Verifier when they met at Donald and has again finished runner-up at Coleraine in a highweight. He's a chance on best but is stuck on the one win which is the worry. SUGGESTED PLAY: Haaland to win.
