Genuine tempo with Yamatake Kochan and Santa Ana Wind leading the way. KITANO EN CIEL (2) is a 18-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth at her latest appearance over 1500m at this track. Among the top chances in what looks a most suitable race. FANTA FESTA (9) met with solid support last time out but could only manage to finish sixth over 1400m at this track in a disappointing performance. Going up a level this time but she deserves another chance. YET TO COME (4) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when eighth, beaten 9 lengths, over 1500m at Funabashi. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. SANTA ANA WIND (13) finished fourth over 1500m at this track at her most recent appearance on January 6. Has to be included.
