MARUKA BLITZ (1) was in contention on the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 2000m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. TERUKEN REN JOY (9) recorded another minor placing last time out, finishing a long neck away in third over 2000m at this track when he was always up in the leading division. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. COMUNE (3) failed to threaten when fresh from a spell last time out, beaten 12 lengths into 18th over 1400m at Chukyo. Has ability and shapes as a top-three chance.
