En Mer is the likely leader and should be able to get there comfortably.
NOTHIN' WONG HERE (4) registered a fifth minor placing from six career starts when well held in third place over 2000m at Pakenham last start. Meets a very plain bunch today and any of his recent runs should be good enough to take this out. MEGA NEEDS (3) was very good at Ballarat three back over the mile but has disappointed since at or around this trip. Backs up four days after the latest outing at Echuca. Capable of turning things around. EN MER (1) wasn't far away two back over 1862m at Kyneton then struggled when extended to 2206m at Ararat recently. Can improve back in this more suitable contest. REEL LATINO (5) was just fair over 2000m at Warracknabeal last time. Lightly raced and can sneak into the frame without surprising. JUST LANDED (2) might never win one but his recent efforts are good enough to see him in the top handful here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nothin' Wong Here should win but might be very short.
