Good tempo expected with Heironaut, Grey Lad and Ioane rolling forward.
IOANE (2) hasn't been too far away since a first-up win at Yarra Valley. Had his chance but was just outside the placings last start over 1500m at Geelong. Won't find this quite as tough so a return to the winner's list is on the radar. OLATUNDE (4) stepped up to 1400m and tackled a BM74 at Albury last time which proved a bridge too far. New to this distance but is finding the line well and this represents a big drop in grade. THIS IS THE MOMENT (6) is 541 days without a win. Good effort two back over this trip at Towong when just out of the money. Three wins and five placings from 14 runs at the mile is an impressive record. HEIRONAUT (7) tackles his easiest race since winning on debut at Sale in January. Drawn to enjoy a soft run so don't be surprised if he bounces back today. HIGH COUNTRY STAR (8) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and is ready for this first try beyond 1400m. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ioane is well placed to score.
