Expecting Beach Girl and Tosen Genial to pair off in front. COCOLI ISLAND (8) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 2000m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of running a bold race. MOW (7) was given time to settle from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly in the straight for an eye-catching second over 1400m at Kawasaki. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. NISHINO AYAKAZE (3) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fifth over 1600m at Kawasaki after being prominent at the turn. Nicely placed to bounce back. LORD ASTERISK (10) settled well back last time out before finishing seventh over 1600m at Funabashi. Can feature on his best form.
