Expecting Tutto Finito to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. FIERCE DREAMS (6) went to the front in a new role for her last start and she only went under by a neck over 1206m at Ararat. McDougall needs a 10/10 ride from the wide gate but if he can give the filly a good steer she is capable of taking this out. POISED (5) is back from a 14-week spell and has been transferred from Waterhouse/Bott to Lloyd Kennewell. Best run last prep was a close second over this trip at Tatura when second-up, adding to two other placings at 1100m. No surprise to see her feature while fresh. TUTTO FINITO (12) led but was swamped late and missed the placings on debut over 1000m at Canberra recently. Plenty of scope for improvement and this won't be any harder. Worth keeping in mind. VENATRIX (16) let down nicely in the concluding stages to get up for second on debut over 1000m at Mornington last start. Sure to be thereabouts again over the extra 100m. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fierce Dreams to win.
