SEVEN SPRINGS (8) finished 0.7 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in contention on the bend over 1500m at this track, an improvement on his sixth at this track the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. AGNES (12) started at $9 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths at this track over 1500m. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. MEISHO UMIKAZE (5) settled well back before making steady ground in the straight last start to finish fifth, beaten one length, over this journey at this track. One of the chances.
