KOKOMO ROSE (2) was comfortably accounted for when fifth last time out over 1500m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. KANEKOME SISTER (9) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing seventh last start over 1400m at this track eight weeks ago. Expecting a better run. ROAR VENT FLARE (7) finished sixth over 2000m at this track at his most recent appearance on November 27. Minor claims.
