Likely improver with strong prospects. SMART MANALIS (2) was comfortably accounted for when fourth last time out over 1600m here after a win at this track at the previous outing. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. B I BLACK (4) returns from a layoff of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 800m at this track. One to consider. NEEDLESS TO SAY (3) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to play a big role.
