Strong tempo with Futaiten Rock driving forward, while Seiun Platina and Jean Kazuma pressure. REDENTOR (8) is a promising type who finished in the placings over 3000m in the G1 Kikuka Sho (Japanese St Leger) at Kyoto at his last appearance on 20/10/2024, the only run of that campaign. Has never been out of the placings first up from two tries. Should camp just off the leaders. Likely to feature. WARP SPEED (1) was narrowly beaten at his latest appearance in the G1 Melbourne Cup at Flemington over 3200m three-and-a-half months ago. Comes here with definite claims. STRUVE (11) got well back over 2500m in the G1 Arima Kinen at Nakayama last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 5 lengths away in tenth. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. SHONAN BASHITTO (16) returns from a spell of four months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when 14th over 2500m in the G2 Copa Republica Argentina at this track. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Must be respected.
