Plenty of pace from Kana Always, Seiun Pursuit and Carry Happiness primarily. SEIUN PURSUIT (5) did a great job to score by a neck over today's course and distance when resuming from a layoff last time out. Steps up a level but he is worth serious consideration. TROPICAL LIGHT (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 20 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 2600m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason she cannot get the major prize. CARRY HAPPINESS (1) is back from a break of three months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when fourth over 2200m at Kyoto. Should be poised just off the lead. Will be in this for a long way. VOLANTE (3) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 2600m at this track. Among the main hopes.
