Solid tempo with American Bar going forward from the good draw. AMERICAN BAR (2) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when second at Chukyo Dirt over 1900m. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will give a great sight. LANDSHUT (9) wasn't far away on debut last start over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt, finishing second and beaten 4 lengths. Leading player with plenty of improvement in store. EPOEPOSAN (10) is yet to break through in seven runs but has been thereabouts. Last start was 6 lengths away in fourth over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One to consider. KEIAI WAIRARAPA (5) resumes from a spell of four months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 1800m at this track. Has ability so don't underestimate.
