Expecting Captain Neki to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. SHIGERU SOROSORO (3) proved too strong two runs ago at Tokyo Dirt. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt, beaten 4 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. ROSE STAR (5) ran below expectations when fresh from a spell at Chukyo Dirt over 1400m last time, finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. CAPTAIN NEKI (9) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on 23/11/2024, finishing 14th and beaten 17 lengths over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Comes here with definite top-three claims. NISHIKIGI MITCHI (10) turned in a fine effort to win by 2.5 lengths at this course and distance when first-up from a spell last start. Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling.
