Sizzling pace from the outset from Theobold, Lux Dion and Esprit Bokuchan locking horns ahead of Lowering Looks and Aero Stream. LUX DION (4) was prominent at the corner and finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in third last start at this track over this distance. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring six times from 12 starts. Ryota Sugawara who has scored on her four times retains the mount. Sure to run well. THEOBOLD (2) finished 7 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1000m at this track after being prominent at the bend three-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance today. Tokoro Hotaru sticks. Leading contender. LOWERING LOOKS (8) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at this track two starts back then scored by 2 lengths last time out over 1200m at this track. Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is capable of another big performance. MAGIC TOUCH (1) returned from a spell six-and-a-half weeks ago when he was in the firing line on the bend before being beaten 12 lengths into 11th over 1000m at Sapporo Dirt. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
