Genuine pace with Winter Bell finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. JARDINIER (1) is resuming today. Was less than a length from the winner in second at Kyoto on debut before showing the benefit of that race experience when an impressive winner over 1800m at Kokura last start. Has plenty of upside and can measure up again. WINTER BELL (2) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 1600m at Tokyo three-and-a-half months ago and has not appeared since. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. SEUL ET PATRIOTE (8) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by a neck over 1800m at Fukushima. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. CHEONGUG (7) accounted for a maiden field over 1000m at Niigata last start, finishing 1.5 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Sparingly raced and has more to offer.
