Expecting Major Tesoro to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. MAJOR TESORO (2) is a seven-time winner who has been at the top of his game of late, scoring by 1.3 lengths last time out over 1400m at this track. Races well here and is likely to run another big race. T O SMITH (7) registered a strong win at this track two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when in the firing line on the turn before finishing second over 1400m at this track, beaten a neck. Yet to miss the placings from seven starts at this circuit. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. MARINO BALLERINA (10) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back it up last time when sixth, beaten 7 lengths, at this track over 1400m. Ren Hasegawa gets the best out of this five-year-old mare. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. SCEPTRUM (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1400m at this track. Looks to be in the right race so he should be in contention again.
