Solid tempo with In His Eyes leading from Protea and Point Forward. PROTEA (8) did little and finished 11 lengths from the winner in 13th over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt last start after being in the firing line on the corner, a less impressive effort than his first-up 11th at Hanshin Dirt the run before. Has raced six times here and has never missed the frame. The engagement of Shuji Akaoka is a positive move. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. IN HIS EYES (9) clung on to finish third last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 0.6 lengths as favourite. Finds a suitable race and can find winning ways. POINT FORWARD (5) battled on well to hold second last start over 1300m at this track, beaten half a length. Has the talent to figure prominently. AMULETUM (7) turned in a strong run over this course and distance last time, settling well back then unleashing in the straight to get up for third. Will be doing his best work late.
