DUCHESS OF KENT (6) has been freshened since she was down the track in the NZ Oaks last start and had been good when placed in her other two starts this time in including a Group 1 placing in the Nevele Series Final. A repeat of that performance would take her close in this. ALWAYS B MAGIC (7) has been midfield when tackling the good fillies at Group 1 level at her last couple and put two wins together before that so will enjoy the class drop. Can measure up in this line-up. TOSANA (5) comes right into contention after scoring last start by 3.5 metres at Central Southland Raceway over 1609m. ANITA MARY (1) broke through last time out over 2200m at this track. Must be included with the confidence up.
