GOING:

CLARINDA PARK IT PACE 1660m

Track: GOOD   Rain (Max: 38)

RIP JACKSON (8) settled in the leading division then took over in front and fought hard all the way to the line to finish third last start over 1710m at Goulburn, adding to his third the run before. Should enjoy a nice smother from this draw and will be looking for a split at some stage. Tackles a similar assignment and he can take care of this line-up. ANDREW SWAGGER (1) has not raced for five months. Looks forward enough for this return after a minor placing in a recent trial. Has the benefit of a good draw and is likely to run a big race to kick off this campaign. REASON TO LAUGH (10) disappointed last time when eighth over 1720m at Dubbo. Is better than that and can atone. PEAKSART (3) is in the mix following a respectable second at his most recent appearance over 1710m at Goulburn.

Failed to impress last start; 8th (Fr1) over 1720m at Dubbo, beaten 20 m by Festinalente (2:05.80) in NR up to 50 on December 12 at $16.
