AVEIRO (3) did a good job to tough out a narrow win in a higher-graded race at Kilmore last week. Aided by another low draw so could back that up. HUXHAM CHUBB (2) took his record at this circuit and distance to two from two when leading from a couple of spots wider to score by a metre last week. Can take advantage of the lower draw. Big chance. EARS THE BOSS (8) showed improvement when runner-up at Melton last week. Draws for a trail and has won at this circuit and distance before. TOO THE MAX (4) rises in class but he is racing well with placings in the last three outings, the latest from a wider barrier at Melton.
