ALEXANDRA PARK   19 Dec 2025

GOING:

GOLDEN GAIT 2YO MOBILE TROT 1609m

Track: GOOD

Manners are a concern for SAVE A PRAYER (6) as he has been making mistakes of late but showed what he is capable of when scoring an easy win at this circuit three back. Kept fresh but readied for this with a trial win and will be tough to stop if he gets it right. THE FOUR ACES (3) continued his consistent form from last campaign when he resumed with a second at this circuit. Still a maiden but should strip fitter and draws well. MUM'S ANGEL (2) draws well and has claims off the Ashburton win two back. SOMEBODY (4) resumed in the same race as The Four Aces and wasn't far behind him when third. Can progress off that. TE AHI (5) may enjoy the drop to the mile having won over 1700m here earlier in his preparation.

Recent efforts haven't been up to his best. Last start 6th (FrU1) over 1980m at Addington, well beaten by Kyvalley Ray (2:24.70) in 2yo on November 14 at $13.60. The start before disqualified at Addington on November 7 over 1980m. Looks nicely placed and has strong claims.
