GOING:

ROBYNE SIMPKINS MEMORIAL 2044m

Track: GOOD

KATLAS DREAM (7) produced a better effort last time out when she scored by 6 metres over 1609m at Newcastle. Won't spend a penny from this draw but luck may play a role on the bell lap. Tackles a similar assignment and she can make it two on the trot. KARALTA COURAGE (3) was responsible for a very good effort last time over 1609m at Tamworth, finishing second and just a nose from the winner. Good enough to take out a race like this. COUNTRY MAJOR (2) is right in contention after finishing in the placings for the second time in a row last start, beaten 4.5 metres into third at Tamworth. No reason why he cannot feature in the finish. WHENS LUNCH (8) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at Tamworth over 1609m. One for the exotics players.
