Plenty of pace from Kia Kaha, Washi and Willit primarily. FASTDEELDUN (6) made progress during his initial prep as a 3-year-old, and he has the breeding to be even better this season. He resumes with the blinkers off over a trip that will be short of his best, but he looked sharp when finishing close up in a recent trial, and he is capable of ripping off a race like this fresh up. BELLEZOR (7) resumes from a spell and was close up in a recent trial. She comes to hand quickly and is worth including in all combinations to be safe. KIA KAHA (10) weakened after leading at Pukekohe 11 days ago. She is better ridden with cover, so stick with her. Include. URLAR (13) ran on nicely when finishing runner-up at Te Aroha just over 3 weeks ago. She doesn't mind a wet track and can go one better here.
