BESIDE ME (3) suffered a surprise defeat when runner-up as a hot favourite in the Northern Oaks last start but had been setting the benchmark for the fillies prior, winning five of her previous six starts. Suited back in distance having won both times she has attempted it here and a good draw can see her dictate. CAPTAINS MISTRESS (9) is building nicely having placed in both starts since a spell to continue her strong form from last campaign. She hasn't missed a place at this distance and is two from two when third-up so can peak. GENERAL JEN (2) has come from wider barriers to win her three starts this time in, one of them over Captains Mistress. Scored in her first visit to this venue last week and is aided by the low draw. ARAFURA (10) cops a second row draw but must be respected after beating Beside Me in her Oaks win last start.
