Draws on the back row but with even luck he is good enough to win a race of this calibre. LETHAL LOUIE (7) overcame a back line draw to get home by a narrow margin at his latest appearance, his second success from his last three starts at this circuit and distance. May need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position but is racing well. MERAKI (10) cops a second row draw in her first outing for a new yard but is a player off a last-start win at Bathurst. DRAGON (6) has won second-up before so can progress off the resuming second.
