KARLOO CANDICE (1) was disappointing last start when eighth over 1720m at Dubbo after a nice third at Bathurst the run prior. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Taking on a better field but she is up to the task. SOMETHING FOR LEXY (7) finished seventh last start over 2260m at Bathurst, beaten 16 metres after working hard in the run, scored at the previous appearance over 1730m at Bathurst. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run but might need things to go her way at some stage. Meets a comparable field and she can play a big role. MITCHELLS RUN (8) is a great chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid fifth at Coolamon over 1760m. Hard to find fault. NOSAER (6) won by 6 metres over 1660m at Parkes last start at the second run back from a spell. Open to further improvement.
