Eyes Are Lion, Lord Danilo and Orca can settle forward in a race lacking a designated leader. Very plain affair to close the day. DIVINE HUNTER (7) has only won once in thirty starts and her recent form is poor, but the blinkers going on may spark her up. Was beaten a long neck in a Class 1 here at this trip in September carrying 3.5kgs more. Worth the gamble on a seven-day back-up. MR GREY (4) charged home to grab third in a similar race to this two back. Wasn't far away subsequently in a shorter race at Rockhampton. Ideally placed to play a big role. NINE CARATS (8) battled away for third in a tougher race over 1810m at Bowen most recently. Good chance down in the weights. ORCA (3) dropped back sharply in trip so his effort to finish second at Bowen last time was full of merit. Might lead and will be hard to catch. DIASONIC (2) is an each-way hope on a quick turnaround. SUGGESTED PLAY: Divine Hunter each-way.
