Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Amanohabakiri. AMANOHABAKIRI (4) raced on the speed last time and was game in defeat when second over 1500m at this track. Great chance to score. PEMPENGUSA (7) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when third at this track over 1500m. Going well and is one of the major players. BLACK CHOCO (1) ran a strong second over 1400m at Sonoda two runs back then was below her best last time over 1800m when sixth. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so can do much better. HINANO TSURUTSURU (2) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, over 1500m at this track. Can feature in the finish.
