Good pace with Blue Horizon, Damostar and Doitwithdiamonds matching motors. DOITWITHDIAMONDS (4) ran on strongly when second of eight over this distance on the Standside course last time. She has won twice and finished second twice from five starts on this course. She is back against her own sex and with Gavin Lerena in the saddle is going to prove hard to beat. AVOONTOAST (6) ran a good race when second of eight over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. She has finished third in both of her previous runs over this course and distance. Jumping from a handy draw can go one better. VULCANITE (1) raced in feature races in her two starts this prep. She drops back in class and having won third-up previously looks well placed to return to form. BOOM BOOM (9) challenged strongly when finishing a close-up third of 12 over 1450m on this course last time when well supported. Racing over a longer trip today is well worth an each-way ticket.
