Moderate tempo anticipated without a noted leader to run them along. DUDE SUNRISE (13) has not been sighted since he finished third over 1600m at this track on June 5. Generally goes well here with a win and two minor placings from three tries. Sure to prove tough to beat. VARIOUS (7) turned in a fine effort to score by one length at this track and distance when first-up from a spell last start. Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling. DERMA UCHIGAKE (1) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 1400m at this track. Fared a lot better at the barrier draw this time so a bold run is likely. THANKS GRANDPA (12) worked home well and finished third last time over 1400m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. In the right race and is a key runner.
