He will use an inside barrier and rates to go one better. Stablemate GRAND METEOR (6) improved at Toowoomba and has more up her sleeve. She also maps well and fitter is a hope. MILTON ROAD (2) wasn't beaten far at Eagle Farm in tougher off a near miss here prior. In good hands and is suited at this level. MIXED SPICE (7) is better than the form line suggests. Steps back a grade and maps well off a freshen. The 3kg claim brings her into it. NEW YORK GAL (8) will be fitter and is knocking on the door. Look for her late.
