Strong early tempo assured from Sakura Top Vip and Shibano Nasturtium leading the way over Golden Beryl. WIN RUBELLITE (8) ran a strong second two runs back then was below her best last time over 1600m when fifth. Better suited at this shorter trip so looks a leading contender. DRUM LIME (6) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1600m here after a win at this track at the previous outing. Has started three times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. SAKURA TOP VIP (4) finished eighth over 1400m at this track last time out following a determined win two back. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. One of the main contenders. NEEDLESS TO SAY (9) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only tenth over 1600m at this track. Capable of better and worth consideration here.
