Plenty of early pace from Kapukapu, A Shin Cattleya and Eirik vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. A SHIN CATTLEYA (6) racing well. Saluted here two runs ago then last time out finished second over 1000m at this track, beaten half a length. Sure to go well again. EIRIK (8) improved last start to finish second over 1000m at this track. Definite threat in this line-up. SUMMER TAIYO (7) broke through for his maiden win over 1000m at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Shaping up nicely and he looks sure to be in the mix. KAPUKAPU (11) went forward and proved too strong last time, scoring with one length to spare over 1000m at this track. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and a placing from four starts. Don't underestimate.
