KOYU PRETTY (7) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 1400m at this track when she was prominent throughout. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. YAMATANOOROCHI (1) did little and finished 8 lengths from the winner in 12th over 1200m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his seventh at this track the run before. In the mix. NONSTOP GIRL (5) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 13 lengths, at this track over 1400m. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MANA PASS (6) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 15 when beaten 2.75 lengths into sixth at this track over 1200m after being handy for much of the way. Good enough on his day and can fill a top-three spot.
