Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Future Date, Kissing Machine and Scarlet O'hara prominent. KISSING MACHINE (3) failed to run a strong 2850m last start after a close second over 1800m at Vaal the run prior. Back in trip and well back in grade. Has a strong record this sharper journey. Capable of a better run. SCARLET O'HARA (8) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 2000m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Progressive filly with plenty of upside and will take running down again. AZALEAS FOR ALL (5) finished fifth two runs back at Vaal then improved last time out to score by one length over 1800m at Vaal. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the key runners. FUTURE DATE (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Vaal over 1800m. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
