RAYS REDEMPTION (3) has been solid in higher-graded races of late, clocking in fourth last time. Well placed and nicely drawn so has strong claims. BOLERO (7) missed narrowly when fresh then worked and finished midfield last time. Draws for a trail and is building in fitness. ED MENDES (4) wasn't too far from the placegetters last start and has claims off a second from a wider barrier three back at Newcastle .SON OF THE SHARK (6) is another that has been racing in the city and while down the track last time the prior form was sound including a placing two back.
