He was slowly into stride but finished off his race well. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Tshepiso Matsoele is booked to ride and he can shed his maiden tag. BRIGHAM (3) ran a good race when second with the blinkers on last time. He stayed on well at the finish but found one too good on the day. Samuel Mosia rides and he is a leading chance. GIFT OF ROYAL (4) stayed on well when third of eight over 1800m on this course last time when coming home strongly from last at the turn. Racing over a longer trip today has winning claims. ALAKANANI (6) went a solid race to finish fifth of eight here over 1800m after jumping from a wide draw. Can surprise at long odds.
