There should be a bit of pressure with Pasadena Dream and Elucidator pressing forward in advance of Shinzen Hachiman and Vario. Z THUNDER (7) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1400m at this track. Should be winding up late again. SHINZEN HACHIMAN (10) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m here, beaten 3.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. PASADENA DREAM (8) is a six-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 18 lengths when 11th over 1400m at this circuit. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time. A SHIN SCIPIO (5) finished third at this course and distance at his last appearance three-and-a-half months ago. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Yukihide Matsuhira and is worth plenty of thought.
