Good pace from My Angel Shell, Francine and A Good Yarn going forward. Handy race to finish Day 1. HEDONIST (3) is going well, placing in his past two, albeit beaten as favourite in both. Like him getting to 1100m, he just needs to get away cleanly and he'll take plenty of beating for the local Dabernig camp. Big watch on THE VIKING (7) who resumes. He was backed off the map to win on debut at Sale before struggling next time out. He's got plenty of ability, the late betting will be key. STOKKE (4) resumes. She only had one run last time in but did win at Caulfield Heath as favourite. She's won a trial recently in a visually impressive manner. Very wary. RUBIQUITY (11) resumes for the Wilde yard with form in some decent races. Tough draw but if they're swooping out wide he comes right into play. HERE THE CROWD (8) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hedonist on top.
