Genuine tempo with the speedy Under The Limit leading the way. FORTRESS AUSTRALIA (6) has found one better at both runs this prep since switching to Nick Walsh from Godolphin, the latest offering a closing second over this trip at Rockhampton. Gets some weight relief today. Won third-up two preps back and is perfectly placed to emulate that effort today. The speedy UNDER THE LIMIT (3) led for home but just failed to hang on last time out in open company over 1200m at Townsville. Should dictate again and back in a benchmark race will be hard to reel in. AIDENABET (8) is never far away, most recently making good late ground to grab fourth over 1200m at Townsville. Big chance over this slightly longer trip in a small field. JOHNNY DASH (2) was well-held first-up over 1100m at Rockhampton but is better placed today and can improve sharply. Veteran BRAD (1) has won twelve races here, seven of them at this trip. Nicely graded in a BM65 so don't leave him out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Fortress Australia.
