Aimpoint to take up the running at a moderate tempo. AIMPOINT (5) fought hard to just miss out when resuming in similar company at Muswellbrook. Meets the winner better at the weights this time and is sure to have come on from the hit-out. Bullock sticks from a favourable draw as he steps out to a winning trip. Leading contender. SHAMEDY (7) didn't lie down easily when beaten a head last start in the Walcha Cup. This isn't much tougher and he profiles strongly. GENERAL SOHO (2) will appreciate dropping back to the country circuit. Has been mixing his form in town this campaign but his best figures measure right up. CONTRIBUTINGFACTOR (1) had the better of Aimpoint last start when enjoying the easier assignment. Meets him worse at the weight but has to be respected. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Aimpoint.
