Expecting Cocoon Bay to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. VONSNIP (1) drops back in trip today after a 2.8L defeat over 1500m at Albany last time out. The drop in trip isn't an issue and her recent ratings stack up well in this field. Can be getting the job done if she can run to form. PENNIES GALORE (8) was away slowly and found them a bit quick over the 1000m journey here last start. She did close off well, but out to this trip now is ideal and she should be on the speed from an inside barrier. Ticks plenty of boxes and is the main danger. DO DA DITTY (10) won well two back over 1100m before a below-par effort over 1000m last time out, finishing behind Pennies Galore. Back up in trip looks a key to her chances and she can bounce back. PRAY AGAIN (3) should be hitting his peak now third-up where he has a good record. Should be strong late in the race. FIRST LAW (6) draws much better today and is expected to be in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Vonsnip in the finale.
