The speedy trio Puerto Manzano, Zinovi and Unzen can establish a strong tempo despite the small field. UNZEN (3) won a good race in his last start over 1400m here on the Standside course, despite over-racing in the early stages. He is just as effective on this course and comes into this race with match fitness on his side which will stand him in good stead. Gavin Lerena retains the ride and the pair can win again. ZINOVI (2) was doing his best work late when third over 1200m last time. He has solid form over this longer trip and will strip a much fitter horse this time. Can win. PUERTO MANZANO (1) returns from a 19-week break. He has good form on this course and though he will have his sights set on some richer targets later on, he can still have a say in the finish here. MERCANTOUR (4) finished a solid fourth last time out and will be peaking his fitness third up. He is nicely poised to put his best hoof forward in this. Each way value.
