Fast pace assured with Mighty Mac, War Chariot and Grand Bay leading the charge. PLEASE BE TRUE (7) after finishing fourth on debut two starts back made the expected natural improvement when winning over this course and distance as the favourite last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He does take on stronger rivals but is a progressive type and should be well up to the task at hand. WINTER PEARL (9) should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung over the final 400m. He has won twice from four starts over this course and distance. He resumes from a spell and if not in need of this run he should be finishing in the money. ONE LINER (10) won by a nose at long odds last start when on debut over 1000m at Kenilworth and was then put out for a spell. Looks a nice type of a colt and fresh-up can take this race out. TRIPPI'S SILK (5) finished second of 12 here last start over 1000m and looks close to a winning run. Well worth a second look in this line-up.
